Website Cost Guide Karlsruhe 2026 — What to Expect

Website costs in Karlsruhe 2026: transparent pricing. One-pager from €1,500, multi-page €3,000–€7,000, complex projects from €8,000+.

“How much does a website cost?” is the first question every potential client in Karlsruhe asks me. And it’s the most justified one. A website is an investment — nobody wants to pay blindly.

Here’s an honest pricing overview. No hidden fees, no bait-and-switch. Just what I actually charge — and why.

My Pricing Structure

Single-Page Website (One-Pager) — from €1,500

One page that says it all. Perfect for freelancers, small shops, or a first online presence.

What you get:

  • A professional design tailored to your brand
  • Mobile-optimized and fast-loading
  • Basic SEO optimized for Karlsruhe-specific search terms
  • Contact form or booking system
  • Hosting setup on my infrastructure

A one-pager is the right choice when you need a business card on the web — nothing more, nothing less.

Multi-Page Website — €3,000 to €7,000

This is where most of my clients land. A restaurant in downtown Karlsruhe, a law firm in Weststadt, a skilled trades business from Durlach.

The price depends on:

  • Number of pages: 5, 10, or 20 subpages
  • Features: Blog, filters, booking system, map integration
  • Content management: Do you need a CMS to update content yourself? Or is a periodic update from me sufficient?
  • Multilingual: A third page in English or French costs less than the first

Complex Projects — from €8,000

Custom web applications, interactive dashboards, tailored booking systems. I always discuss these projects in person — preferably over coffee in downtown Karlsruhe.

What Drives the Price?

Technology Stack

I no longer build websites with WordPress. My standard architecture is Astro 5 with Vue 3 and Tailwind CSS 4. This means:

  • Load times under one second
  • No security updates keeping you up at night
  • No PHP, no MySQL database, no attack surface
  • Static HTML output — still works in 20 years

WordPress still makes sense for certain cases (more in my Astro vs. WordPress comparison). But for most new builds, a static site generator is the better choice.

Design Effort

Buying a template and swapping the logo costs little. A custom design that carries your brand and sets you apart from competitors costs more.

I design every project individually. That means I understand your business, your customers, and your goals before I draw a single line.

Maintenance and Operation

A website is never “done.” After launch, ongoing costs include:

  • Hosting: €15–30 monthly, including backups and monitoring
  • Maintenance: Small adjustments, content updates, security checks
  • SEO: Continuous optimization so customers in Karlsruhe can find you

Hidden Costs — What to Watch Out For

Here are the typical traps I see when taking over projects from other agencies:

Cheap hosting. “Web hosting included” for €5/month sounds great — until the site crashes at 500 visitors. Quality hosting costs money, but it’s money well spent.

Page builder lock-in. Wix, Squarespace, and Jimdo make starting easy. But when you grow and need more, you face a complete rebuild. Migration costs many times the original build.

SEO retrofit. “We can do SEO later” is the most expensive sentence in web design. Retrofitting SEO costs more than building a solid foundation from the start.

My Promise

I tell you the price in our first conversation. No “it depends” evasions. If I’m not the right partner for your budget, I’ll tell you — and recommend alternatives.
