2. Concept

3. Design in Figma

I design the new layout in Figma. You see the result before code is written.

4. Development

Development happens in parallel with the existing website. The old site stays live while I build the new one. Zero downtime.

5. Migration & Launch

I switch the new site live — typically within minutes. URLs stay the same, rankings stay intact. I monitor intensively for the first 48 hours.

6. Optimization

After launch, I optimize based on real data. Page views, time on site, conversion rate — everything is measured and improved.

From WordPress to Astro

The most common case: an old WordPress site needs modernizing. My standard workflow:

1. Export content — extract all text, images, and SEO meta data from WordPress
2. New frontend with Astro — lightning-fast, static site
3. Headless CMS (optional) — if you need to edit content yourself, I set up a user-friendly CMS
4. SEO migration — 301 redirects, meta tags, structured data — nothing is lost
